CBP Announces ACE Reports Data Universe Retirements

On December 16, 2022, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #54385977, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the retirement of several Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Reports data universes on December 22, 2022.

The affected universes that will be retired are:

  • In-Bond;
  • Manifest Equipment;
  • MMM DM Adhoc;
  • Trade Reporting; and
  • Transactions.

According to the CSMS, “Reports currently pointed to the In-Bond universe should be re-pointed to the In-Bond New universe. Depending on the data elements present in a given report, reports currently pointed to the Manifest Equipment, MMM DM Adhoc, Trade Reporting, or Transactions universe should be re-pointed to the In-Bond New, Multi-Modal Manifest, or Truck Manifest universes."
