ACE Protest Module Updated for UFPLA Reviews

In a CSMS (Cargo Systems Messaging Service) bulletin published on January 26, 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced an update to the ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) Protest module to automate Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA)related reviews.

In addition, the CSMS covers how to use the ACE Protest module to request either an UFLPA Exception review or UFLPA Applicability review and offers guidance for protest filers on selecting the correct type of protest review.

This update to the ACE Protest module was deployed on January 27, 2024.
