In an Executive Order amendment published on February 5, 2025, the President restored de minimis eligibility to low value shipments of Chinese goods.
This restoration of eligibility is intended to be temporary and will “cease to be available for such articles upon notification by the Secretary of Commerce to the President that adequate systems are in place to fully and expediently process and collect tariff revenue applicable.”
