CBP Releases Harmonized System Update

On March 8, 2017, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #17-000131 announcing the release of Harmonized System Update (HSU) 1702, containing 1,754 ABI records and 360 harmonized tariff records.

The CSMS specifies that, “Modifications include those made as a result of Presidential Proclamation 9555, To Implement the Nepal Preference Program and for other purposes…”

The update also includes all required modifications for the verification of the 2017 Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
