On July 1, 2017, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #17-000387 announcing the release of Harmonized System Update (HSU) 1705, containing 476 ABI records and 93 harmonized tariff records.
The CSMS specifies that, “Modifications were made as a result of Presidential Proclamation 9625, To Modify Duty-Free Treatment Under the Generalized System of Preferences and for Other Purposes.”
The update also includes all required modifications for the verification of the 2017 Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
