CBP Publishes Quota Bulletins on Peanut Butter, Animal Feed

On November 22, 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued two bulletins via its Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) providing guidance on upcoming quota periods for animal feed and peanut butter, respectively. 

Each CSMS specifies details about the quotas including:

  • Quota amounts allowed from various countries; 
  • Eligible Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) numbers; and
  • Special instructions for each quota.

The quota period for each commodity will open on January 2, 2024.
