On March 22, 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published a variety of "issue papers" ahead of the March 29th meeting of the Commercial Operations Advisory Committee (COAC). The "issue papers" cover the topics that will be discussed in the meeting which include:
- Export Modernization;
- Forced Labor; and
- E-Commerce.
The COAC advises the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Secretary of the Treasury, and the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on the commercial operations of CBP and other related Department functions.
