CBP Posts Summary of COAC Meeting

On April 3, 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) posted a summary of the March 29, 2023, meeting of the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC). The meeting covered topics such as export modernization, forced labor, and e-commerce. Eight recommendations were passed related to cross-border facilitation, in-bond issues, export modernization, and the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

The next COAC meeting is scheduled for June 14, 2023.

The COAC advises the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Secretary of the Treasury, and the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on the commercial operations of CBP and other related Department functions.
