CBP Issues Guidance on Revisions to Section 301 Duties on Certain EU Goods

On January 11, 2021, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service #45453497, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued guidance on the revisions to the Section 301 duties imposed on certain goods from the European Union as part of the U.S. enforcement of the World Trade Organization (WTO) large civil aircraft dispute.

The changes were announced in Federal Register Notice 86 FR 674 and include additional 25% duties on certain French and German wine and brandies and additional 15% duties on certain aircraft manufacturing parts.

The changes are effective from January 12, 2021.
