As of 10:00am April 6th, Shanghai reported 3,247 positive cases (311 new cases) and 87,366 asymptomatic cases (16,766 new cases) since March 1st, 2022.
There are 13 medium-risk areas in the city.Starting from 12:00am on April 2nd, people leaving Shanghai need to show a negative antigen test result within 24 hours and a negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours.
On April 6th, another nucleic acid or antigen test will be carried out throughout Shanghai city.
Shanghai will publish the follow-up prevention and control measures based on the city-wide nucleic acid test result on April 6th. Currently, all still need to continue to follow the existing rules and stay at home. Release date is subject to further government notice.
