WCO Launches Trade Tools

On March 3, 2021, in a press release, the World Customs Organization (WCO) announced the launch of its new online platform, WCO Trade Tools. This tool “compiles information to support international trade actors in the classification of goods and the determination of the corresponding Customs tariffs and taxes.”

Key features of the platform include:

  • A comparison tool of the Harmonized System (HS) and Rules of Origin;
  • Highlighted recent HS changes; and
  • A search for product specific rules in Free Trade Agreements and corresponding HS entries.
