USTR Extends Certain Section 301 List 4A Exclusions

On August 28, 2020, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a notice extending specific Section 301 List 4A exclusions. These extensions include exclusions from various List 4A rounds, all originally scheduled to expire on September 1, 2020.

Extended exclusions cover 14 ten-digit subheadings and 73 product descriptions including:

  • Various fabrics and textiles;
  • Certain face masks; and
  • Various watch parts.

These exclusions will be valid from September 1, 2020, through December 31, 2020. They can be claimed under 9903.88.57. U.S. Customs and Border Protection will issue entry guidance and implementation details.
