USTR Extends Certain Section 301 Exclusions

On December 16, 2022, in a notice, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) announced the extension of certain exclusions for the “Section 301 investigation of China’s acts, policies, and practices related to technology transfer, intellectual property, and innovation.” The 352 exclusions that were previously reinstated have been extended through September 30, 2023. The exclusions can be claimed under tariff 9903.88.67. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will issue entry guidance and implementation instructions.
