USTR Announces Reallocation of FY 2022 Raw Cane Sugar Tariff-Rate Quota

On April 15, 2022, in a press release, the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) announced the reallocation of the “unused country-specific quota allocations under the tariff-rate quota (TRQ) on imported raw cane sugar for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022.” USTR is reallocating 201,551 metric tons raw value (MTRV) of the original quota quantity of 1,117,195 MTRV across twenty-five different countries’ allocations. USTR also reminds importers that quota eligibility certificates are required for country-specific quota allocations.
