USDA Reminds Trade of APHIS Core Message Set Implementation

On March 4, 2021, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #46473493, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) issued a reminder that the second phase of the APHIS Core Message Set implementation begins on March 15, 2021. APHIS will fully enforce this message set in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and will reject entries for regulated products submitted without the necessary message set data.
