U.S. Issues Fact Sheet on Trade Deals Since 2022 U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit

In a press release on July 12, 2023, the U.S. Government issued a fact sheet on the 75 new trade deals following the 2022 U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit. The summit was held in Washington, D.C. in December 2022. The deals include authorizing exports supporting renewable energy to countries including Tanzania and Angola, trade missions focusing on airport infrastructure, and supporting U.S. small business exports to North and Sub-Saharan African customers.
