In October 2024, the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA) announced several antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) determinations as well as investigation initiations. Details on the cases and associated HTS numbers can be found in the official notices linked below.
Preliminary determinations were published for the following:
- CVD investigation of certain high chrome cast iron grinding media from India.
- CVD investigations of crystalline photovoltaic cells whether or not assembled into modules (solar cells) from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnam).
- CVD investigation of disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids from the People’s Republic of China (China).
- (AD) investigations of Dioctyl Terephthalate from Malaysia, Poland, Taiwan, and the Republic of Türkiye.
Final determinations were published for the following:
- AD investigation of truck and bus tires from Thailand.
- AD investigations of frozen warmwater shrimp from Ecuador and Indonesia and countervailing duty CVD investigations of frozen warmwater shrimp from Ecuador, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
The following antidumping and countervailing investigations were initiated:
- AD investigations of hexamethylenetetramine from China, Germany, India, and Saudi Arabia, and countervailing duty CVD investigations of hexamine from China and India.
- AD investigations and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of thermoformed molded fiber products from China and Vietnam.
