Mexico Updates Effective Date for "Automatic Export Notice" Requirements

On June 3, 2025, Mexico's Ministry of Economy (Secretaría de Economía) published an agreement in the Diario Oficial with a list of 30 Harmonized System codes subject to “Automatic Export Notice” (Aviso Automático de Exportación).

The Automated Export Notice is intended to gather information on exports to Mexico's Trading Partners and covers products that includes but is not limited to automotive parts, certain home appliances, tequila, and unwrought silver.

The effective date for the agreement has been updated to July 7, 2025.
