Mexico Publishes Modified List of Items Subject to Export Permit Based on Wassenaar Arrangement

On August 25, 2022, in the Diario Oficial, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy published an agreement that modifies the list of dual-use goods, software, and technologies that are susceptible to diversion for the proliferation and manufacture of conventional weapons and weapons of mass destruction that are required to have an export permit from the Ministry of Economy. The list was modified based on the latest changes published in the December 22, 2021 update on the Wassenaar Arrangement website https://www.wassenaar.org/. The enforcement date was the following day of publication.
