In January 2025, the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA) announced several antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) determinations as well as investigation initiations. Details on these cases, including affected HTS numbers, can be found in the official notices linked below.
Preliminary determinations were published for the following:
- AD investigation of vanillin from the People’s Republic of China.
- AD investigation of large top mount combination refrigerator-freezers from the Kingdom of Thailand.
- AD investigations of certain brake drums from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Türkiye.
- AD investigation of low-speed personal transportation vehicles from the People’s Republic of China.
Final determinations were published for the following:
- AD investigations of paper plates from the People’s Republic of China, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The following antidumping and countervailing investigations were initiated:
- AD and CVD investigations of float glass products from the People’s Republic of China and Malaysia.
- AD and CVD investigations of erythritol from the People’s Republic of China.
- AD and CVD investigations of sol gel alumina-based ceramic abrasive grains from the People’s Republic of China.
- AD and CVD investigations of Active Anode Material from the People’s Republic of China.
- AD and CVD investigations of slag pots from the People’s Republic of China.
