On April 17, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #19-000197, an initiative to make trade data more accessible to users in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

According to the CSMS, the first project will migrate the Importer Trade Activity (ITRAC) data to ACE Reports beginning in the Spring and continuing through to the Fall of 2019. CBP anticipates quicker and more on-demand reporting, among other things. During the transition period, trade users may continue to request reports through the ITRAC process.

CBP will provide additional details in the future and directs any questions to ace.report@cbp.dhs.gov.
