CBP Requests Public Comments on Section 321 E-Commerce Data Pilot

On September 13, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued Federal Register Notice (FRN) 84 FR 48363, which invites the public and members of the trade to submit comments on the Section 321 E-Commerce Data Pilot.

Per the FRN, CBP requests that the comments address the below topics:

  • “Whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency;
  • The accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden of the proposed collection of information;
  • Suggestions to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected;
  • suggestions to minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond.”

CBP requests that comments be submitted by email at CBP_PRA@cbp.dhs.gov, or by mail. Written submissions must be submitted no later than November 12, 2019.
