On May 14, 2018, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released their revised Business Rules and Process Document for the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Entry Summary.

The latest release has revisions in multiple sections, including a draft chapter for the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act (TFTEA) Drawback process, revisions to Temporary Importation Bonds, NAFTA Duty Deferral, reconciliation, protests, liquidation, and others.

CBP considers the TFTEA Drawback section, “…a draft reflecting CBP’s tentative and conditional framework for drawback pending the issuance of a Final Rule to implement the regulatory changes pending for TFTEA-Drawback claims.”
