CBP Releases List of Federal Holidays for Calendar Year 2022

On December 20, 2021, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released a list of Federal holidays for calendar year 2022 in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #50453909.

The following days are designated as Federal holidays:

  • New Year’s Day (observed) - Friday, December 31, 2021;
  • Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. - Monday, January 17;
  • Washington’s Birthday - Monday, February 21;
  • Memorial Day - Monday, May 30;
  • Juneteenth National Independence Day (observed) - Monday, June 20;
  • Independence Day - Monday, July 4;
  • Labor Day - Monday, September 5;
  • Columbus Day - Monday, October 10;
  • Veterans Day - Friday, November 11;
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 24;
  • Christmas Day (observed) - Monday, December 26.
