CBP Releases List of Federal Holidays for Calendar Year 2020

On December 26, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released a list of Federal holidays for calendar year 2020 in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #41112134.

The following days are designated as Federal holidays:

  • New Year’s Day - Wednesday, January 1;
  • Birthday of Martin Lther King, Jr. - Monday, January 20;
  • Washington’s Birthday - Monday, February 17;
  • Memorial Day - Monday, May 25;
  • Independence Day - Friday, July 3;
  • Labor Day - Monday, September 7;
  • Columbus Day - Monday, October 12;
  • Veterans Day - Wednesday, November 11;
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 26;
  • Christmas Day - Friday, December 25.
