CBP Releases Forced Labor Resources

On February 23, 2023, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #55222106, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the release of additional resources for compliance with the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) and forced labor enforcement. The resources include new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), best practices, and “Guidance on Executive Summaries and a Sample Table of Contents” for importer applicability review submissions.

Additionally, CBP will host a Forced Labor Technical Expo in Washington D.C. on March 14-15, 2023. The expo will also be streamed live on cbp.gov.
