CBP Publishes Truck Section 321 Requirements

On November 5, 2018, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published the requirements for Truck Section 321 shipments in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #18-000656.

CBP will require all commercial truck shipments containing Section 321 merchandise to file an advanced electronic manifest beginning January 1, 2019. CBP will begin a phased approach for non-compliance starting on November 26, 2018.

Filers may contact Amy.e.hatfield@cbp.dhs.gov concerning additional information for the electronic filing of the truck manifest in ACE.
