On February 4, 2021, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #46065846 and #46065530, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the opening of the tariff rate quotas for Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic (CSPV) cells, large residential washing machines and parts of washing machines under Section 201 of the Trade Act of 1974.

The quota period begins February 7, 2021 at 8:30am EST. All entries submitted prior to the opening were counted in the first opening, with entries being prorated if the totals exceeded the limit.

Quota Bulletin QB 20-507 2021 Solar Cells/Modules and QB 20-505 2021 Large Residential Washers and Covered Parts outline the tariff rates and quantity thresholds through February 6, 2022.
