CBP Opens Registration for Green Trade Innovation and Incentives Forum

On July 11, 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hosting the Green Trade Innovation and Incentives Forum in Alexandria, Virginia. The forum will have both virtual and in person options. According to CBP, the forum “will be an opportunity for members of the trade industry, research and academic experts, non-governmental organizations, government interagency personnel, and other entities with an interest in Green Trade to share ideas related to green trade innovation and incentivization of clean and sustainable supply chains and trade decarbonization.”

CBP is requesting comments on the proposed themes for the forum:

  1. Green Data as a Strategic Asset
  2. Green Trade Incentives
  3. Green Trade Research and Innovation

Registration is due by 5:00 PM EDT on June 20, 2023. Details can be found on CBP’s website here:
