On February 8, 2023, in a press release, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the modification of its Withhold Release Order on YTY Industry Holdings Sdn Bhd (YTY Group) in Malaysia. Effective immediately, CBP “will allow YTY Group shipments to enter the U.S.” According to the press release, the modification is based on evidence that YTY Group’s disposable gloves are no longer produced using forced labor.
