In a Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) bulletin published on May 30, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the launch of the Trade Information Notice (TIN).

The TIN will replace the messages sent out by the Office of Field Operations (OFO) and will allow subscribers to customize the information they receive from ports of entry, field offices, and centers of excellence and expertise.

News and updates about the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) will still be sent through CSMS bulletins.

The TIN was launched and replaced OFO’s messaging process on the day of publication.
