CBP Launches Forced labor Portal

In a Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) bulletin published on January 21, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced that the Forced Labor Portal is now live.

As of January 21, 2026, it is now mandatory for use the Forced Labor portal for the following:

  • Withhold release order/ finding admissibility reviews.
  • Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act applicability reviews.
  • Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act requests for exception.
  • Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act exception requests.
