CBP Issues Withhold Release Order against Malaysian YTY Group

On January 28, 2022, in a press release, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a Withhold Release Order (WRO) against “disposable gloves produced in Malaysia by YTY Industry Holdings Sdn Bhd (YTY Group), including YTY Industry Sdn Bhd, Green Prospect Sdn Bhd, and GP Lumut.”

The WRO was issued for forced labor concerns.

CBP will detain these products at all U.S. ports of entry effective immediately.
