CBP Issues Section 201 Guidance on Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Cells and Modules from Canada

On July 19, 2022, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #52609589, U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued guidance on the suspension of Section 201 applicability on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells (CSPV) and modules originating in Canada. The suspension is effective from February 1, 2022, and post summary corrections (PSC) may be filed for entries still within the PSC filing timeline. Affected entries must be submitted with the subheading 9903.45.27 in lieu of the Section 201 subheadings.
