CBP Issues Period 5 2022 Specialty Sugar Quota Bulletin

On July 5, 2022, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #52366142, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the publication of Quota Bulletin (QB) 22-309 2022 for Specialty Sugar Quota Period 5.

Quota entries may be transmitted on July 15, 2022, from 12:00 midnight local time until 12:00 noon EST only. Entries that are received early or late will not be processed during the opening, although early transmissions may be transmitted a second time during the correct time range.

As reported, CBP is expecting this to oversubscribe at the opening moment.
