CBP Issues Period 1 Specialty Sugar Quota Bulletin

On September 14, 2020, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #44073712, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the publication of Quota Bulletin (QB) 20-305 2020 for Specialty Sugar Quota Period 1.

Quota entries may be transmitted on October 1, 2020 from 12:00 midnight local time until 12:00 noon EST only. Entries that are received early or late will not be processed during the opening, although early transmissions may be transmitted a second time during the correct time range.

As reported, CBP is expecting this to oversubscribe at the opening moment.
