On January 18, 2018, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the February 24, 2018 deadline to transition to electronic Drawback filings and Reconciliation entries in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

At that time, ACE will become the sole CBP-authorized Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system for processing electronic Drawback filings. Additionally, Reconciliation entries will transition to ACE as well. CBP will decommission the Automated Commercial System for both Drawback and Reconciliation on the same date.
