CBP Issues Information on FY 2024 Customs Broker Permit User Fee Changes

On September 14, 2023, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #57691954, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) provided information on the Customs Broker permit user fee changes within the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024.

The Customs Broker Permit User Fee will increase to $174.80 from $163.71 for all broker permits issued after the effective date of October 1, 2023. All annual user fees for 2024 are also subject to the new fee amount. The due date for the annual user fees for 2024 will be announced in a Federal Register Notice.
