Posted by Kelsay Calvaruso on 3/10/20 5:00 PM

On March 9, 2020, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued guidance in Cargo Systems Message Service (CSMS) #41955151 on the first round of product exclusions for List 4A of the Section 301 trade remedies.  This round of product exclusions contains certain medical supplies of Chinese origin.

According to the CSMS, importers may request administrative refunds on shipments filed on or after September 1, 2019. Refunds can be requested via a post summary correction (PSC) if the shipment is within the PSC filing timeframe, or via protest for entries that are beyond the PSC filing timeframe.  These exclusions will be available through September 1, 2020.

CBP directs additional questions on Section 301 entry filing requirements to TradeRemedy@cbp.dhs.gov.
