On December 19, 2019, U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued guidance in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #41052773 on the sixth round of product exclusions for List 3 of the Section 301 trade remedies.  This round of product exclusions contains products affected by the List 3 action on products of Chinese origin worth an approximate $200 billion in annual trade value.

According to the CSMS, importers may request administrative refunds on shipments filed on or after September 24, 2018. Refunds can be requested via a post summary correction (PSC) if the shipment is within the PSC filing timeframe, or via protest for entries that are beyond the PSC filing timeframe.  These exclusions will be available through August 7, 2020.

CBP directs additional questions on Section 301 entry filing requirements to TradeRemedy@cbp.dhs.gov.
