CBP Issues Guidance on Five-Year Section 301 Suspensions

On August 23, 2021, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #49153305, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued guidance on the suspension of Section 301 duties imposed on certain goods of the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU) related to the World Trade Organization (WTO) large civil aircraft disputes. The five-year suspension of additional duties began on July 4, 2021 for products of the UK, and on July 11, 2021 for products of the EU.
