CBP Issues Guidance on 35% Duty on Certain Russian Goods

On July 13, 2022, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #52458835, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued guidance on the increased Column 2 duty rates for certain products from Russia that will be effective July 27, 2022. The increase in duty rates to 35% ad valorem was in alignment with Presidential Proclamation 10420. Imports of affected products will require heading 9903.90.08 on the entry summary line.
