CBP Discontinuing Form 1302A Cargo Declaration Acceptance in DIS

On July 1, 2022, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #52338815, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that submission of Form 1302A Cargo Declaration – Outward with Commercial Forms will no longer be accepted through the Document Imaging System (DIS) effective October 1, 2022. The required export manifest data elements can be submitted through the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) to the Automated Cargo Environment (ACE) as part of the ACE Export Manifest Test or submitted in paper to the port of departure.
