CBP Deploys Electronic Vessel Manifest Confidentiality Online Application

On May 19, 2020, in Cargo Systems Messaging Services (CSMS) #42747527, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the deployment of an automated online application for submitting electronic vessel manifest confidentiality requirements.  Ocean carriers, importers, exporters, and consignees will be able to manage their own confidentiality requests using the online application, which can be found on cbp.gov.  The online application became available on May 22, 2020.
