On March 1, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the delay of the enforcement dates for in-bonds in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #19-000103. The original enforcement date of February 6, 2019 was postponed and will be rescheduled in order to allow CBP to consult with the trade through the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) In-bond working group. The COAC meeting is scheduled for April and the enforcement date will be determined after the review.
