On September 11, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published a bulletin via its Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) with updated guidance on "resubmission timeframes for rejected entry summaries with trade remedy duties."

The CSMS bulletin states the time limit for CBP to reject an entry summary subject to antidumping or countervailing duty and/or trade remedies is 60 days, or 300 days with approval. Once a reject is issued, the trade community has 10 "working" days to respond. Entries subject to trade remedies includes entries with tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), Section 232, Section 201, or Section 301.
