On April 29, 2021, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #47640669, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the second quota period for large residential washing machines under Section 201 of the Trade Act of 1974 for the 2021 quota year.

Period 2 begins on May 7, 2021 at 8:30am EST. All entries submitted prior to the opening will be counted in the first opening, with entries being prorated if the totals exceed the limit. The period extends through August 6, 2021, and the quarterly limit is 300,000 units without rollover.
