CBP Announces Fee Changes for Fiscal Year 2026

In a Federal Register Notice (FRN) published on July 23, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announces that it was “adjusting certain customs user fees and their corresponding limitations established by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) for Fiscal Year 2026.”

The rate for the Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) of 0.3464% will not change. However, the minimum MPF fee is increased to $33.58, and the maximum fee will increase to $651.50.

All user fee changes will go into effect on October 1, 2025.
