CBP Announces Electronic Phytosanitary Certificate ACE Integration

On September 8, 2020, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #43961085, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced the integration of the Electronic Phytosanitary Certificate (ePhyto) into the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

This functionality will streamline the submission process of phytosanitary certificates and allow them to be submitted electronically via ACE to the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). It will be available on September 26, 2020.
