CBP Announces EEI Hold and Hold Release Notification Messages

On December 15, 2022, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #54365029, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that CBP Officers will soon have the option to notify filers of Electronic Export Information (EEI) via the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) of Hold and Hold Release messages. The messages are available for testing the in the certification environment.
